There was likely some conection between William Deveny and James Edward Devany. James Edward lived on the Morse road in West Dalhousie Annapolis Co.,and William in Westfield Queens Co., about 25mi apart. Williams son James married Eleanor Donellan from Bridgetown and also settled in West Dalhousie. There are many similar names in both families James,John,William,Ellen,Mary etc. I have a copy of the James Edward genealogy given to me by Sharon Comeau,a
gg-grand daughter.
