Hi there .. I'm wondering if anyone has any links to a John Devinney who is my ggggrandfather, who was killed in Vera Cruz in 1850 ish, and who had a brother Matthew Devinney. We believe that John migrated to USA at some stage from Ireland or England and was a follower of the American Army. His decendants then apparently migrated to Melbourne, Australia, which is where my family now is. If anyone has any information or links to these fellows could they let me know .. !!! !Thanks and appreciated !!!
