The wife of John DeVane Sr was ANN LARKINS,
dau of Tabitha ___? & John Larkins.
Ann's sister Mary m. Thomas DeVane II, John's
brother. After John Larkins died, Tabitha
m.(2) James Robinson by whom she had a son,
Benjamin (who for some reason spelled his
name "Robeson"). Benjamin m. and had a dau.
Ann Robeson, who m. James DeVane, son of
John DeVane Sr & Ann Larkins. Therefore,
Tabitha __? (1)Larkins (2) Robinson's
granddaughter Ann Robeson m. Tabitha ___>
(1) Larkins (2) Robinson's grandson, James
DeVane. Confusing, yes.
On the Larkins family website I have posted
the will of John Larkins (Jr), brother of Ann
and Mary. He names them as well as other
brothers and sisters in the will.
