I am new to genealogy. So please excuse any mistakes I may make. I have been told by family that our name DeVine was actually pronounced differently but when my g-grandfather came to the US it was changed. So I was wondering if possible, if the original pronunciation and spelling might have been DeVane? If anyone can help me with this it would be very appreciated. I am researching MICHAEL DEVINE (b)1864 Ireland (d)1935 Covington, KY Thank you, Teresa
