I would be most interested in the cites on the birth date of Thomas DeVane!! This is the first I have heard of anyone's being able to connect the DeVanes to France factually, though we all believe that they did come from there, leaving sometime after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes.
As for the reunion, one is currently being planned, to take place in southeastern NC in the Fall of 2008. More information will follow on these boards as the committee makes decisions. We are hoping for a huge turnout from all over the country!
