Johann Adam Deutsch was born 24 Dec 1815 in Keskastel, Bas-Rhin, France. He married Maria Magdalena Mager on 20 Feb 1838 in Keskastel. She was born 26 Dec 1819 in Keskastel. They had 11 children born in Keskastel and four more born after their arrival in Ohio. To conserve space only year of birth will be given following the names of their children: Catharina 1838, Magdalena 1840, Johann Adam 1841, Sophie 1842, Dorothea 1843, Eva Margaretha 1844, Caroline 1846, Adam 1848, Charlotte 1850, Margaret 1851, Anna Eva 1853, Jacob 1856, Henry 1858, Minnie 1859 and Ludwig (Lewis) 1863. The history (genealogy) of this family can be traced back to at least mid 1700s in Keskastel on the Deutsch name and to their REEB ancestry as early as mid 1600s.
