Hi Jodie -
I finally have a fairly good confirmation that your Rosa Schwab Deutsch was indeed the sister of my GGGrandfather George Schwab. I obtained Rosa's obituary, her marriage certificate, and followed through on the census and other records - However, the key was in the funeral notice for George Schwab's wife Magdalena (from the Erie Times in 1927) Many of her pallbearers were named Deutsch and the first names the same as all the Deutsch male children - it would be too much of a coincidence for her to have the same birth year and all the same children's names as another Rosa Deutsch in Erie (possible but very unlikely.)
I have collected quite a bit of information about the Schwab line (including Rosa and George's parents; they were orphaned in 1883 and adopted by the family of FJ Metzler in Erie.) It is all posted on my rootsweb tree:
