Hi,

There were several "Johann DEUTSCH" that might fit that time frame and did go to America, however, none are shown as being married when the went to the USA.

DEUTSCH, Johann Wilhelm b.16 March 1826 Bischmisheim; nothing more known of him - believed to have gone to Amerika. Father (out of wedlock) was Wilhelm DEUTSCH, and mother was Susanna Magdalena DEUTSCH b.25 May 1802 in Bischmisheim; married Wilhelm DEUTSCH 07 Feb 1827. She died 04 April 1835 in Bischmisheim, Germany

DEUTSCH, Johann Valentin b.24 Jan 1834 in Bischmisheim; went to America with his parents and 2 siblings in 1838. His parents were: Johann Jacob DEUTSCH and Sophia Catherina BARTHEL.

DEUTSCH, Johann Nicolaus b.27 July 1836 Bischmisheim, Germany. He and his brother and sister went to Amerika with his parents - possibly 1844. They lived in New York. His parents were: Wilhelm DEUTSCH and Catherina Margareta TAUSEND. (She was his second wife, they were married 07 July 1835 in Bischmisheim, GER. They had 3 children in Germany: Johann Nicolaus, Heinrich b.20 Aug 1838; and Sophia Margareta b.22 Jan 1841.

If any of these sound like the one you are looking for, I can give you more info on their ancestors.

Marcy
