If, in the listings of the Deuel (Duel, etc) family, you run across a Lewis Deuel (Duel) I would greatly appreciate your letting me know about his parents. I have different birth dates as well as parents for him, but I do know he had two wives, (1) Mary Carpenter and (2) Mary Barton. Mary Barton was disowned by the Quaker church in early January 1800 for "marrying out". Lewis had 15 children by the two wives. My deuel ancestor is Linete (Lonita, etc) who was born in 1817 in Saratoga County, NY. she married 1837 Ithamer Elliott. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
