Amy, I'm the Dan your looking for, Orrin H. Deuel was my father. When he died we were all in Panama while he was in Bolivia. Mom moved back to WI, buried dad, tried to get something going but with three kids and no income, it was to hard. When that first winter started, what money she had was disappearing rapidly. We moved to Orlando Florida. Arnold was an original snowbird and wintered here, so Beverly bought a house near the air force base to take advantage of our military survivors benefits and still be close to Arnold if she needed help. She eventually married William Y Ford and had two more children by him (one of which is named Amy, by the way). Brothers John, James and I are all still here in central Florida.
