A lot of these people were related by marriage. Nathan Eddy was originally from Westport, his wife was Mercy Fish, niece of John Fish and first cousin of Ephraim and Benjamin Fish. Mercy (Fish) Eddy's brother Thomas Fish married George Deuel's niece Rebecca6(John5,Benjamin4) Deuel. Mercy's sister Mary Fish married Rebecca's brother Cornelius Deuel.
So I wonder who Charles Russell is. He appears as a witness on a Quaker marriage certificate in Easton in 1778 (Ebenezer Deuel is also a witness). My best guess would be Charles5(William4,Joseph3-2,John1) Russell, born in Dartmouth 17 Oct. 1744, married Rebecca Briggs in Dartmouth 9 March 1775. Several Briggses are on these Easton Quaker marriage certificates as well, I think it likely they trace back to Dartmouth/Westport/Little Compton family, no other Briggs family I know of was Quaker, maybe some of her family came to Easton.
Anyway, Charles Russell would be a first cousin to Barnabas Russell, who is the only one in the Russell Genealogy I see who can be traced firmly to Easton.
A Charles Deuel was a witness to the will of Benjamin Fish, made in Schagticoke in 1820.
Ephraim Fish's wife was Mary Potter, daughter of Stephen and Bridget (Allen) Potter, I haven't checked but she might be connected to Nathaniel Potter.
