In 1930 George Deuel, age 79, is in a household with his daughter Daisie, a hairdresser, his daughter Bertha, his son-in-law and granddaughter.
He is likely George8(David7, Reuben6, John5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, William1) Deuel. In 1860 he is age 9 in his parents household in Dryden, Tompkins Co. In 1870 at age 19 he is again in his parents' household, now in Richford, Tioga Co. (both locations border Harford Mills).
His brother Oliver owned a farm in Richford. His grandfather Reuben6 Deuel, a shoemaker, moved to Dryden from Dutchess Co. ca1806. They are descendants of Mayflower passenger George Soule via the wife of Joseph3 Devol/Deuel.
