Looking for information on this man, my g-g-g grandfather, who married Phinis Towne from Forest Lake Township, Susquehanna County, in October, 1853. She was a postmistress, possibly at Montrose. They had only two children, Wellington, who died at 13 months and Lydia who died in Missouri at the age of 18 years.
