I believe he was born in New York but lived in Vermont most of his early adult life. He was married to Mary (Polly)? and they had the following children: Catherine, Delany, Seth, Ben, Polly and Amy. By the early 1800's he and his family settled in Sunbury, Ohio and he died in 1813. After his death, Mary (Polly) married my 4th grandfather, Rufus Atherton. I am also trying to find out the maiden name of Mary (Polly)...
