My g-g-grandfather was Henry Deuel born June 1811 in New York or Germany (most likely NY). He died on March 5, 1874 in Patterson NJ and is buried there in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. His son John J. Deuel was born in 1855 in either Illinois, New Jersey or Canada (most likely Canada), and eventually settled in Passaic City, Passaic County NJ. Records show his mother as being from Canada. I have been unable to find a Henry Deuel matching this description. Does anybody have a Henry Deuel matching this description in their files? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
