Thank you for replying to my message. Linuw W. Deuel, age 33, b. N.Y. and Aratus Deuel, age 30, born PA are both listed in the Pottawottomi Co., KS census taken June 27, 1870 in Louisville Township. In the 1880 KS census for Louisville township in Pottawattomi Co., KS Aratus Deuel is not listed, however, Linus W. is still listed. I do not know if they were related. Maybe they were brothers, cousins, etc. Your Martha Sylvania Deuel born in 1830 would have been 40 in 1870. Please let me know if you run on to anything new that would tie these 3 persons together. Have you checked any records in Chatauqua Co. N.Y.? Any info you can send to me would be appreciated.
