I have an old COOK bible listing the children of Christopher DEADWYLER born 25 Dec 1768 and Benjamin Cook. Both were in Jasper/Elbert Co, Ga before 1800. The children of Christopher DEADWYLER were John, Nelly Joseph, Lindsey, Sally, Martin, William and Jesse.
I am trying to find the connection of the Deadwylers and Benjamin COOK.
The spelling in the bible is DEDWYLER and DEADWYLER.
