Hello -
I am just beginning on a quest to help my husband locate his ancestors.
The surname is Detwiler, his ggrandfather was Jeremia Detwiler who lived in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Was married to Maggie Bell Detwiler (I believe)
The ancestors are believed to have originated in Ireland, with a move to Scotland, then emigration to the United States, specifically to Pennsylvania.
Does anyone have information to share? Or advice? Thank you!
