I have a Martin Deadwyler(Detweiller) born in Europe (Germany?), and emigrated to America. I believe he fought in the revolutionary war and at one time lived in one of the Carolinas. I have been unable to research any further than Martin but I am descended from his daughter Margaret Deadwyler who married Claiborn Webb. Margaret was born in 1765 and died in 1833. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do you know this Deadwyler? If not, can you help me with the different spellings so I may be able to research better? Thank you -Rachel
