I am a descendant of Rose (b 28/9/1848, m 16/6/1877 to Edwin Saxton and died 1941). I have the dates for Rosina (b 12/6/1824, m 12/6/1848 and d 20/3/52)and have the Piano Making connection first hand as I remember talking with my g grandmother who was Rose's daughter and lived until the age of 99! The famous Piano Maker was George W Dettmer, but I believe the George who was married to Susanna was a George Thomas Dettmer.... I don't know if there is a direct connection between these... the search continues!
