I do not find a George Washington Detrick/Tetrick in my files but what I have on Peter Jr. is he was born in Augusta Co. abt 1776. died abt. 1863 in Harrison Co. He married Magdalene Beard b. 1775 died 9/28/1880. Married abt. 1800. They had 7 children:
1. David 5/9/1806 died 12/9/1909 Was over 102 when he died. Buried at Rosehill in Elizabeth, IN. Had 5 children, married Jane Stoner.
2. Jacob b. abt 1807 married Elizabeth Applegate 7/11/1831 - 8 children
3. John b. abt. 1808, married Lettitica Elwood 11/25/1857. I only know of 1 child.
4. Sarah Elizabeth m. Peter Lamb 7/29/1834
5. Margaret b. about 1815, buried New Middleton IN UB. Married Augustus Payton 2/25/1837
6. Mary Polly b. 1818, died 1/30/1890, married George Crosby 4/3/1840
7. Elizabeth married James Irwin 1/24/1830 and moved west.

As for Peter Sr. he was born 6/14/1743, died 5/21/1832, buried near Elizabeth in the Detrick Burying Ground, married Margaret Kester. Children:
1. William Philip b. 3/5/1765, d 4/28/1871, m. Susannah Bowyer 8/11/1801 and 2 others.
2. Peter Jr.
3. John b. 1787 m. Enthora Wallace 1813
4. Elizabeth m. George Krown 8/15/1809
5. Susannah - m. Henry Haestead 6/16/1812
6. Jacob m. Mary Anderson 11/28/1828 - stayed in VA
7. Margaret m. Reuben Duggins 11/12/1819
8. Henry b.abt. 1780-1864 m. Ruth Smith 4/20/1820
9. Sarah m. Henry Turner 11/3/1824
10. Abram b. 1802-1860, m. Sarah Rogers or Rhodes 10/22/1825
11. Frederick m. Nancy Smith 4/28/1827
All came to Harrison Co. except Jacob. I did a lot of research on them while in Harrison Co. this past summer but would like to know if your information corresponds with mine.
I do have a few other notes on Peter Sr. and the burying ground there but you probably have all of that also and who was buried there. I have not seen anything on George Washington Detrick/Tetrick though. I do know that William Philip stayed in Augusta Co. or Rockingham Co. until about 1850 when he moved to Harrison Co. to be with his other children already there. When do you think George Washington Tetrick was born? Let me know if you need more info.
