George Detrick was born about 1820 in PA and married Jane Davis (1823-1906), d/o Wm. and Jane Davis of Ireland, in Sullivan County, NY, where he worked as a lumberman. Their children were: Mary Ann, Jane, Delia, Hannah, George, Sarah, John, Emma and William Davis Detrick. The widow, Jane Davis Detrick, changes the spelling to Deterick. Sullivan County, NY is on the Delaware River, where this family lived. Can anyone help?
