After a very long internet seach two years ago I found a biography on Paul Detlefsen posted by an art house dealing in reproductions of his work. It's amazing that so little is known about this talented, unique artist. In 1987 while in Washington DC I took a little side trip to the Smithsonian's Americam Museum of Art. Surely they would know something. All I got was dumb looks from their assistants and nothing on Detlefsen was in their computer! Anyway, I saved his bio and I'll e-mail it to both of you right away. It's a WORD attachment.
