Hello Joe:

I also have "The Smithy" and it is also different than the paintings shown on the Internet. Mine seems to be "more complete". The paintings I've seen stop at the tree on the right hand side, but the painting I have continues on with another horse and a buggy. I went to the DetlefsenCollection.com site and wrote an email to the info link about it. Hopefully, they can tell me more about the painting I have. Is your painting the same as mine or different?
