Mary Detelante

Hi, I noticed no one has posted here in a while, so I hope people are still reading. I just traced a great, great (etc.) grandmother back to a Mary Detelante, who married a William Davis in Gallia County, Ohio in 1843. Mary was born around 1820, and she had a son (my great, great, etc. grandfather) named Augustus Davis, which suggests to me that the Augustus Detelante born in the 1820s, who I have seen in the Gallia County Censuses is likely her brother or another relative.

Mary's children end up in Lincoln County, WA by the 1890s, although I am not sure if she ever left Ohio for Washington (the Davis names are too common to make this easy).

The only Detelantes (or anything similar) of the right age to be her parents that I've managed to find in the Federal Censuses in Gallia County are Francis and Natalie, in 1850, b. around 1786 in France.

I am curious if these people are known members of Louis Detelante/Detillion's family or if there is some possible connection between Mary and Louis I should be aware of, or if this is a possible different Detelante family in Gallia, Ohio which also ended up in Washington (at least through the Davis marriage).

Any thoughts or information that might help?
