I am a descendent of Louis living near his and his wife's burial in Gallia County. So far I have found no connection to the French 500. He came here somewhere between 1805 and 1817 depending on the source you are speaking to. I have a copy of a land deed indicating he purchased land in Gallia County as of that date.
