Hello Claire - Carmine's parents names were Francesco & Marianna. No Antonio that I know of & no ties to Canada. I don't believe there is a relationship with your Antonio. There are quite a few De Stefano/DiStefano's in the Monteforte & Avellino area, more so than elsewhere in mainland Italy. Good luck in your research!
