His name was Antonio Distefano and his parents were Antonio Distefano and Maria Margareta. He emigrated to Canada in circa 1891. When I requested information from the government on his immigration papers, they sent me a copy of an Antonio Distefano that had emigrated from Monteforte Irpino who became a Canadian citizen in 1908.
