Hi ~
I recently found the DiStefano name in my family's line, from Santa Croce Camerina Sicily.
My g-grandmother's mother's name was Giuseppa Angela DiStefano, born 19 Aug 1832, married to Angelo Scillieri, born 19 Feb 1824. (Their grandson, Giuseppe Carfi, my grandfather immigrated to NJ circa 1920-1923)
The parents of Giuseppa Angela DiStefano were Gianbattista Jacobo DiStefano, born 25 Oct. 1802 and Felicia Rosalia Vasile, born 09 Nov 1808.
The parents of Gianbattista Jacobo Di Stefano were Giuseppe DiStefano, born about 1773 and Angela Brancato born about 1781.
In addition, Giuseppa Angela DiStefano's husband, Angelo Scillieri was also had relatives with the DiStefano name:
Angelo Scillieri born 19 Feb 1824. His parents were Stefano Scillieri orn 27 Apr 1778 and Giovanna Di Stefano born about 1801.
The parents of Giovanna DiStefano were Giovanni DiStefano born about 1770 and Concetta Iozzia born about 1773.
