Go to the top of the page and where it says Jump to Forum, type in Quebec and click on GO. Then it will give you two choices, click on the Province and not the surname. You could put the same post with the Duhamel forum and any state. Make sure that you give them all the information that you have. It will make it easier for them.

It does seem like they were gypsies; yet in the 1800s all our Quebec ancestors moved where the work was because for the most part, the farmers in Quebec were very poor. Also they had many children and only the oldest son got the farm. It was just plain tough times.
