There is someone who could help you tremendously in regard to the Desilets. His name is J. Roger Cloutier and he lives in McMasterville, Quebec. He is a semi-professional genealogist and he and his wife have written a book about the Desilets (her family). However, unfortunately I don't know where to find his email address anymore. You might try posting a query on the Lanaudiere GENWEB site as I think he follows it.
