Hi everyone,
My name is Carla Tevis, and I am the grandaughter of Charles Derosier who was originally from either Wisconsin or Michigan area I believe.
He married my grandmother Mildred Ford in Townsend, Mt. around 1920 I believe. I know his father was Louis DeRosier and he had a sister named Ida DeRosier. He and my grandmother had 3 children, Charlie jr. Alice and Gladys. My mother and grandmother are both deceased and so I can no longer ask them for information. I do remember my mother saying that he wanted nothing to do with his family for some reason but unknown why. He also was very much a loner. While married to my grandmother he lived in a very remote area outside of Missoula, Mt. called the 9 mile.
He was a trapper/miner/logger/.
I would greatly appreciate any and all information anyone has as I do not know where to start Thank you in advance for any assistance, Carla Tevis
