I am searching for the parents of one Joseph LaFrenier born 6/2/1851.
I know his fathers name started with an N. and his mom was Sofie.
I have found two possibles through help, a Narcisse and Norbert, but I can't prove either.
I know that Jospeh came to the Plattsburgh NY area where he met and married Julia Lorriane, and then moved to Cass County, MN.
He was born in Quebec.
