This is just a guess but maybe a connecting link. In the 1881 Canadian Census for Quebec there is a Osias Desrosiers age 18 and the son of Isadore Desrosiers Jr.
Could this Osias be a link to to the Osias that died 1958 in BC. Just a thought.
