Finally saw your reply to my message. It is a real coincidence that your family has the name Leah also, as my mother, as it did not seem to be a common French-Canadian name. Our family is the Desrosiers dit Lafreniere, descended from Antoine Desrosiers & Anne LeNeuf du Herrison. I did quite a lot of research on the Baron-Lafrenieres in Maskinonge,looking for connections but did not find much. Sorry to be so long getting back to you! Wes Richards
