Boy I guess family DID name their children the same. My DeRosier/DeRosia family goes like this: Francis DeRosier b. Canada about 1807 married Delia Cassiday and moved to St. Lawrence County, NY. They had 10 children names as follows:
Francis Jr. b. NY about 1831
Sophia, b. NY about 1833
Charles, b. NY about 1834,
Alexander, b Can. about 1836
Delia, b. NY about 1839
Lewis, b. NY about 1840
William, b. NY about 1843
Paul, b. NY about 1845
Mary J. and Sarah J. b. NY about 1848 (twins) As you can see, some of the names are the same. Could your DeRosier be in the same family? Please contact me. Perhaps Levi was a brother. I am anxious to find parents and siblings.
