My great grandfather is Theotime Desrosiers.
He came to Minnesota with my grandfather, Pierre Hormisdas Desrosiers. Pierre went by Peter and on his marriage certificate his last name is spelled Desrosiers, but at some point the s was dropped and he went by Desrosier. I'm not sure if Peters brothers and sisters all came to Minnesota or if some stayed in Canada. Peter was married to Amanda Hasty in Polk Co. Mn. on June 20, 1909. On his naturalization papers dated July 26, 1920, his signiture is faded at the end and I can't tell if he has signed with an s on there or not. Peter and Amanda had 7 children and lived in Beltrami, Mn (Polk county). My father Leo Elmer Desrosier also lived there with his wife Crystal(Grover) and they have 6 children. Leo moved to Silver Bay Minnesota in 1956 to work at Reserve Mining co. He resided there until his death in 1996 at the age of 76.
