If we were german our name would be Rosenbrau i think. The english language does not have words for fruit bearing trees. If the word existed for an apple bearing tree it would be appler as (pommier) in french, a cherrier for cherry tree like (cerisier) or a rosier for a rose bearing plant. Therefore being from a place where there were many roses in the olde country, the name Desrosiers from (rosiers)
