Good day,
I am looking for my great-grandfather's parents.
His name was Hildevert Desroches and was born October 22nd 1856 in St-Augustin de Desmaures.
His parents were Joseph Desroches and Marie-Louise Cantin.
They also had a son named Augustin (born around 1849, location unknown) and a daughter named Louise born around 1858 location also unknown)
After extensive research at the Société de Généalogie Canadienne-Francaise in Montreal I suspect that they might have married somewhere in New-England.
Any information would be more than welcome
