After reading your request on Thomas Desroches married to possibly a Poulin, I came to the conclusion that it was Thomas born 10 sep 1849 married to Mary Paulin on the 10 jan 1871 in Tignish, PEI.
Thomas'father was Joseph born in 1808 married to Anne (Nannette)Poirier in 1829.
Joseph's father was Julien born 1782 married to Marguerite Poirier in 1805.
Joseph's father was Joseph born 1750 married to Anne Doucet. That Joseph was one of the founders of Tignish.
