THINON, dit DESROCHES, Charles 1673 QC

I just happened to browse the web, and found your site. My father would be thrilled to see this, since he wrote a booklet (of about 700 pages) on our side of the family. Our ancestor came from a little village near Angoulème, Bordeaux (France). Originally, he was known as Tinon, dit DESROCHES. After a while, the name Tinon was dropped. The first one to come to Canada was Charles Tinon, dit DESROCHES who married Marie-Anne Bonnedeau in 1700, and had 12 children with her, remarried when she died and had 7 other kids. They lived in a town near Québec city, Saint-Augustin. If you can read French, I am sure he would be delighted to find a way to send it to you. He spend a lot of time on this.
