Gary,
I have a direct connection to your list...person #92 is my grandfather and person #72 (Anna Julia) my grandmother (died in 1996 at the grand old age of 102). Miscouche was my home for the first 10 years of my life (despite having been born in Oshawa, Ontario in 1953) and I have many memories of my growing years there. As I reflect back, I remember no indoor plumbing, outdoor toilets (using discarded magazines instead of toilet paper), warming up wood in the oven in the winter to place under the blankets at the foot of your bed, heating up water in a tank attached to the woodstove for baths in the kitchen, etc. etc. etc. I also remember having a pet skunk (de-stinked), the day my dog died and being taught at school by nuns (we had to tip our hats as we passed them by). I remember tremendous snowstorms with snowbanks being high enough to enable you to run your hands along the telephone wires. All good memories...
I also am working on my genealogy....
