A word of caution: to my knowledge, the DesRoches family of the
Maritimes (Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, etc.) is not related to
the Desroches family of Quebec. They came from different regions of
France.

I'm sorry I don't have a lot more information to provide on this now.
