Do you know the area and Church of which he was affiliated? Does this mean you are stuck at 1844 and have not been able to go on? There is a Gentleman who helped me tremendously to recover my family. I will forward his e-mail to you if you send me a note to my personal e-mail. I don't want to put it all over as I don't know if he would like it or not. I am sure he would not mind being referred by me.He might be able to give you what you are looking for. He gave me info as far back as the late 1500's.
