Hi Sue: It appears that we are from the same Desroches family line. My earliest Desroches ancestors to "Canada" were Jean-Baptiste Desroches and Francoise Gode. Where do you connect into this line? I've got about 9000 names to date and will try and assist you in any questions you may have that connects. When my Desroches G-Grandparents relocated from Quebec to Manitoba (via New York, Conn. & Mass.?) there name had been changed to Stone. (During the US time only)
My G-Grandfather Francois Desroches from Quebec married Malvina Desroches (4th cousins)from Mass. in 1878.
