My Great Grandfather was Antoine HEBERT b. 1882 in Fall River Mass. His parents were Antoine HEBERT b. Canada and Ursula DESROSIER b. Candada according to his birth certificate. Ursula would have been born about 1850's -60's?
I have also seen Ursula's name spelled DEROSIER and DETREMBLE. Ursula was obviously married before she married Antoine, I know that She had at least two other son's -
Adelard and Adrien Hebert Antoine Hebert SR. must have adopted them because I know they were my ggfath's step brothers.
Also a new mystery to me while visiting my parent's we found a photo album with serveral pictures of these people which were pasted onto the page I carefully peeled them off some of which had writing on the backs of them. One picture sent from Adelard to Adrien of another brother named Theodore whom Adelard refered to as their youngest brought up by American's. I am not sure what his last name would be.
When I asked my grandmother if she new anything about Ursula and Antoine she replied that her father never talked about them or kept in touch. Too bad.
Please, if anybody has an Ursula DesRosier in their files I would love to hear from you.
