Just returned from research trip to Buchanan and surrounding counties in Missouri, one of my targets being James DeSpain. He married my 3xgrandmother Dicey (Duncan) Young on 17 July 1853 and they had a son James (Jr.) who was born the following year. Very little other information available on James DeSpain, except that a sister married the brother of Dicey Duncan. Are any of these in your Buchanan County, MO lines?
