HI, I'm new to this forum in that I thikn I might have written once a while back.
Here I am again. My mother's line was Lafitte who married Maria Eulalia Desoto d/o Emmanuel DeSoto who married Paul Bouet Lafitte. I'm looking how I might be able to get a copy of Katie Desoto's book.I was told that down to my mother's name was listed. Hearing so, I am anxious to read what it says on the family etc.
We are related to both sides of the Lafittes. My gggrandfather was Isaac Pierre Lafitte who married Mary Prudence Lafitte,his first cousin who is of the Desoto/Lafitte line.Her father was Jean Flores Lafitte s/o
Joseph Marie Caesar Lafitte s/o of Paul Bouet Lafitte and Marianna Eulalia Desoto.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
If possible, I would like to some how as well get a copy of Katie's second edition if at all possible.
I live in Japan and it's hard to get anything like that here.Basically would have to get it through places or people through places like this site.
