Parents of Firmin Sr. was Jean B. DeSoto and Marie Rodriguez. Firmin had at least one brother Lorenzo (Laurence) DeSoto. Firmin Sr. 2nd marriage was to Marie Lestage; parents to my Joseph DeSoto and your Firman Jr.. There is speculation at this point to the parentage of Jean B. DeSoto.
