Cornelius was born in Cork County Ireland on Oct 31, 1836. He came to America between1843-1848. He married Mitilda Green (born in Canada in 1835) in 1860. They had 4 sons; William R. (1864), John J. (1868), James R. (1871), and JEREMIAH (1871). His grandchildren included; Cornelius J. (1895), Hazel (1897), Verna (1900), Reva (1902) and PEARL AUGUSTUS Desmond (1904). If anyone could find a connection or tell me more would be must appreciated.
